Only authorized personnel can access the data centers used by us. Our databases are backed up regularly to help protect the data in case of an uncontrollable catastrophe or other occurrence. The data center that stores our servers has policies and procedures in place designed to safeguard the equipment that our data is stored on. Additionally, physical access to the servers storing our data requires individual authorization and authentication.

System/Network Security Measure
We regularly upgrade our system software to include the latest security features. We use security methods to determine the identity of each registered user, so that appropriate rights and restrictions can be enforced for that user. Reliable verification of user identity is called “authentication.” Our system requires both a username and password to authenticate users. Users are responsible for maintaining their own passwords. If you give your username and password to another person or allow access to it by another person, we cannot protect your privacy.

Application Security Measures
All communication between our Web server and your browser is encrypted with SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) to guard against network eavesdroppers. Your password is internally encrypted in our system to prevent unauthorized access to the system. Validations are built throughout the application to capture the most reliable information. Only the last 4 digits of your card number is stored on our servers.

Your login password, account access information, name, address, email address, personally identifying information and test results are made available only to you and are not released to anyone else without your consent, except as indicated below. Should you give any other party access to your email or test results, Medical Care and its contract parties and other representatives (collectively, “Third Parties”) shall not be in any way liable for that information or for the intent or manner of its use. In addition Medical Care and its Third Parties shall not be liable should your account, test, test results, diagnostic guidelines, treatment information, recommendations or any other information become public due to a natural or technical disaster, or from outside hacking, viruses, or security breaches.

Privacy Policy Changes
Our privacy policies may change from time to time. Each time you use our Site, you agree to all changes as a condition of each use. While we expect to post privacy policy changes on our Site, we recommend that you review the policies each time you log on to stay current.

Employees
Our employees are required to keep customer information private as a condition of their employment with us. Only selected, authorized employees are permitted to access your health information.

Use of Cookies
Cookies are a technology used by us to facilitate the identification of a user session as the user moves through the Site. Without your prior consent, we will provide to Third Parties only aggregated information, with no identifiable personal references.
